I think it worked out for everybody. Ryan enjoyed some success at ND. And OU moved forward and had some pretty good teams the next couple of years. Something to think about, but OU might not have landed Ace had Hump stuck around. I think their time on campus would have overlapped.

I think Hump would have been a senior Ace McGhee's Jr year. So yeah may not have got him

If you know that for a fact, than you should also know why OU is recruiting the Punter guard out of Juco? Just doesn't make sense if nobody is leaving (or better, potentially leaving).

Because Krueger likes guards, we have a scholarship to offer, and the last two games we struggled to put the ball in the hoop and to stop guards on the defensive end. There are plenty of reasons to bring in another guard

No offense, Price is Right, but it may be best if we lock this thread. We usually don't allow threads that contain a rumor to stay up too long, unless it is accompanied by a link or supporting evidence of some kind.

I want to make it clear that I'm not locking this thread because nikebasketball is not a trusted source. With Hornbeak losing his starting spot this season, mainly due to an injury, the news he brought to the board does seem to fit. The fact that OU is recruiting a juco shooting guard would also appear to give this rumor legs.

I hope the part about Je'lon is not true. I personally believe his best basketball is still ahead. There is no question his injury set him back, but he was beginning to round into form again toward the end.

I hope vbdad is right, and all of the players on our roster are back next year!

I don't know that they are recruiting a Juco guard? I do know they believe Jelon will be on the team next year.
