Traveler usually I'm on the same page with ya...but why in the crap do we want this on OUHOOPS?
 
I don't know. Its the offseason. OU basketball news and discussion is sparse. I was interested in what is going on up there, so I looked it up. I thought some others on here might also be interested. Thus, I shared the links.

To me, the most interesting link is the biography on the new coach, Brad Underwood. I think he has the makings of a coach that could really upgrade the OSU basketball program.

Anyway, I have already done separate threads on "What ______ Losses and Returns" with selected stats; for Texas, OU and Kansas. Be forewarned that I will likely do this for some other Big-12 teams, ...

... including OSU.

Please keep it up, information on conference rivals is extremely relevant for OU fans.
 
OSU now has fourteen scholarships filled. Who is out? Davon Dillard?

I mean I'm all for posting who they have coming back and stuff like that. Just didn't think many would care to read in depth background on players thoughts and stories about the coach from OSU. No big. Was just confused. To each their own. Just thought it was a weird thing to post. But hell I post some weird stuff too! ;)
 
I hate to say it, but Underwood was a great hire. OSU will be relevant soon.

New guy is a walk on, Dillard seems to be buying in. They've had to talk Griffin into staying before so maybe this is an insurance policy for him.

SG: Phil Forte - All Conference Caliber Player
SF: Davon Dillard - 4star recruit. Total freak athlete. #21 SF in nation.
PF: Leyton Hammonds - Decent player, decent shooter, 10/5 kind of guy
C: Mitchell Solomon - Worst player in the Big 12

They need some more post guys, or for Mitchell Solomon to shock the world and have an amazing turnaround. An amazing turnaround for him would be become a decent defender, and average 7/6 and be able to stay on the floor.

The kid gave up scholarships to be a walk-on? I just have a hard time buying that.

I liked making fun of the poster that said Solomon was better than Lattin but I seriously doubt Solomon is the worst player in the Big XII. How would you even begin to know the abilities of a guy that never gets off the bench?

i suspect Solomon will beaver solid role player the next two years just not as good as Lattin

For the guy who never gets off the bench, are you referring to Davon Dillard? He is pure "potential" at this point.
