Baylor. There quick and athletic and play like they want to turn it into a street fight. Do we have a enough toughness is the question? Were a Pretty and Flashy team-We can put the ball in the hoop, but are we tough enough?

George Karl was talking about the Clippers, he called that style of play California Cool, but said they will struggle against tougher teams.

if we match can match there toughness and quickness- I honestly don't even see it from Baylor. Pretty weak schedule so far so they could be inflated. They don't play together all that well, they don't shoot all that well, I think were the more talented team- if we match there toughness we can beat them twice. But do we have that in us

Baylor lost by ten at Kentucky, so it's not like they are unbeatable. Kentucky is 17-5 and 4th in the SEC. We may only be 15-7, but we are also three games ahead of the 3rd place team in the Big 12.

We shouldn't get lost playing Baylor, not with everything that's at stake.

I repeat, we have to have scoring from Gioya and Sharane. If that happens we can play with Baylor. If not, I look for the Bears to win by 10 or more.

Baylor's only up by six on Texas at halftime. If Texas comes back to win, OU could be in first after Wednesday.

Don't find that true at all norm, anyone can score and we win IF- We rebound, prevent easy layups, and keep the turnovers down. They will ether try to slow us way down like KSU just did, or speed us way up- Whatever the case we can't turn the ball over... Then, are we athletic enough as a team neutralize there quickness on defense? if we can't keep them from getting layup, its gonna be tough. There not a great shooting team, no layups will be crucial. And most importantly we have to rebound with them- to do that we are gonna have to get rough while also staying out of foul trouble. Toughness, and are we athletic enough. I believe we are more than athtletic enough to play with this team, but its worth question cause they are Quick.

This game has very little to do with scoring, though, getting Gioya going again will be beneficial, it'll be the secondary things that wins this game.

Rebounding will be the key. I am not worried about our toughness. Kaylon, Vivi and Mckenna are tough down low. Sharane, Gioya and Gabbi can be just as mean. This team has no reason to be afraid of Baylor. I think Sherri will change up our defenses, and Peyton is showing she can score in different ways. It may come down to who has the better bench. I think that is us. It will be tough to win in Waco, but I would not put it past these kids doing it.

I will bet money that if we get behind, some on here will be blaming those Baylor alum officials. :)

11:59 left, Baylor up by 8, Baylor has 4 players with 3 fouls, Texas has Stafford with 4 and one other with 3. The fouls have been pretty even between the teams. I hope Mulkey is having a conniption fit right now.

I think Gioya has to score AND that we HAVE to rebound and hit under the basket. Cannot miss the chippies. I don't think it is really that relevant what happened preseason with Kentucky. If I were betting money on the game, I would put my money on Baylor, especially at Baylor. However, I have no desire to bet against OU. How will Gioya, Sharane, Kay-Kay, Maddie, Vivi, Derica, LaNecia, Nicole and Treece play? We need everyone to step up. Gabbi and Peyton have been pretty steady the last few games and need to remain so. We need to neutralize Nina Davis or, at the least, slow her down because I doubt that we can neutralize her. Gioya, Sharane and Kay-Kay have been leading us in rebounding but they have to do better, as well as, the rest of the team. We will need to play the best basketball that we can to beat them.

It's a six point game with 10 minutes left. Anything can happen. Baylor's not used to being in this situation.

I've been wondering when the Longhorns were going to wake up. It appears that today is the day.

I still believe the Big 12 officials are scared of the Wicked Witch of Waco and therefore don't call Baylor games the way the call other games in the Big 12. Just saying.

One thing we can't do, and this is what Texas has done on two consecutive possessions, they have missed chippies that would have put them three points down.

I agree and we have a tendency to do that.

However, after watching Baylor, they don't really do any thing special that we can't defend with our kids. We just need to relax and take care of the basketball. If we make shots, we can beat them. I certainly don't think they are worthy of a number 1 seed for the Big Dance.

Nina Davis has really quick hands. Usually scores when she gets an offensive rebound.

Well, it was a 5 point game, but after Nina Davis hit two free throws and a tip-in, it's now a 9 point game with a bit over 3 left.

4 point game, over a minute left. This one is not over.

Who would you put in their place? Maryland? Tennessee? I don't see Oregon or Florida State being better.
