Kim will be elected to the HOF just like Bobby Knight was elected to the HOF although the Hall has chosen not to elect Eddie Sutton to day which is beyond me. And no Syb does not get a vote. I would not be surprised to see it happen at the Hall's next vote. JMHO.

Frankly, I’m tired of the KM bashing that goes on here.

Is she a tough competitor as a coach? Does she play the angles etc.

YEAH! SHE DOES... and so the F what?!

She does her job well. She’s all business on the court and at practice. She’s got really good assistants that do their jobs very well.

She plays by the rules - right on the edge -to her advantage. And apparently people all over the country love and respect her except here in Oklahoma.

And some in Oklahoma just hate her because she whips OU’s butt badly every time we are on the court with them.

She know she’s being paid to win basketball games and titles above all else.

Sherri Coale isn’t even in the same hemisphere as Mulkey as a coach and recruiter. She can’t even carry Kim’s gym bag.

Baylor won the natty in 2005, 2012 and 2019. Every 7 years. I guess they are due back in 2026.

...and add to that Mulkey as a student-athlete won two NC's; the AIWA in 1981 and the inaugural NCAA in 1982. She was also the inaugural winner of the women's Naismith award in 1984. You don't have to like her, but her achievements and support of women's basketball is phenomenal.

SIDEBAR: I heard her loud and clear after yesterday's NC win (when speaking of LCox and KBrown) state that she will recruit and sign the "old school big ole post player" any day! It was in a tone that sounded as though it was not the popular thing to do. She was clearly making a statement!

Mulkey will likely sign 2020 Hannah Gusters 6’5 post out of Texas, even still I don’t think she will be able to duplicate what she’s done with Cox and Brown, she would have to sign another player 6’5 or taller to go with Gusters if she’s to do that.
 
I thought Gusters was split between Baylor and UConn? Saw on Horn Fans that the thought was that Gusters and Andrews would go to Baylor, but if Gusters went to UConn, Andrews was wide open.

UConn has 2 point guards already committed in there 2020 class, I can’t see them recruiting any other guards unless it’s 2021 Fudd. UConn normally doesn’t get players to leave Texas and with Baylor wining a championship, I can’t see why the package of Gusters and Andrews wouldn’t pick Baylor.

It is hard to hate a coach, though, whose team totally, for all time it looks like, dominates your team. I mean why let it bug you when there is no competition?

I don't care how many national championships Kim Mulkey has won. I have a daughter, and if she turns out to be a great basketball player, I would never send her to Kim Mulkey. I would, however, love for her to play for Sherri Coale.
 
Understandable. Different strokes for different folks. There also those parents out there that would prefer their daughter play for Kim, Geno, Tara, Muffet, Jeff and others.
