Have you watched us play? Have you looked at the KenPom ratings?

If the answer is no on both counts, I think you might be surprised.

I've watched. I won't be surprised if they get hot from downtown and beat a couple of good teams, but other than that, they don't match up with anybody who has a decent frontcourt.

OU should (i stress, should) handle a team like that because we have guys who can rebound, score, and defend in the paint. But that's why they play the games anyway. Anything can happen in one game.

OSU SOS = 303
OU SOS = 42

Also, against a horrible schedule, the pokes aren't rebounding well enough, are 247th in the country in assists per game, and 106th in FG%.

I definitely would be surprised if this team were anywhere near competing for this conference this year. They could always improve as the season goes on, but there is a whole heck of a lot of improving to do before this team is more than just another 3-point jacking mid-major type.

Hoops, not football. Looking at what OSU is trotting out there, and I know they will improve, but I'll be a little disappointed if OU doesn't sweep. That is not a very good team they have.

Like I said, I'll be a little disappointed if we don't sweep. I know it's a rivalry game, and anything can happen on the road, but we are the better team, and we matchup well against them. There is literally nobody on their team that scares me offensively other than Forte and Nash. And we have the athletes/length to defend Forte.

Haha was wondering when WT would bring this thread back....been waiting! Lol wonder what ole Jeff thought about the game...it'll be a good game in Stillwater...such a good crowd...but ou no doubt looks like the superior team.

I don't see any reason we should expect to be better than OSU. Their best player is better than ours. Other than that the starting 5s are pretty much equal. Neither bench is much to write home about. A split is very likely.

It's funny that this is the first season of the Ford era people on this board have not been gushing about how good aggy is going to be (especially ABD). Watch it be the year they actually are good. That would be par for the course.

I was referencing Nash and Buddy has absolutely outperformed him along with every player in the conference!

It is pretty funny that the OSU pumpers made a later than usual aggressive appearance recently hyping up Forte & company just in time for them to get run out of the gym.

Not ready to amend the split statement due to our inconsistency but sure hope we sweep.

Glad we put it together in the 2nd half. Because that is not a very good OSU team.
