With all the stupid rules of the NCAA, I can't see how in the world they would ever allow the longhorn network to televise high school football games with potential recruits playing in these games. I don't know if ESPN was just stirring s**t trying to get free publicity for the whorn network or not (wouldn't be surprised) but anyone with their right mind would know that the NCAA would have to investigate this new type of network and all the implications to all the rules that are in place and I'm sure it will result in more rules added to the organization. When it's against the rules for someone to give a recruit or athlete $5 or a ride in a car, how can it not be against the rules for a school to televise high school games (with potential recruits)???
I'm sure ESPN and Texas are going to keep pushing the envelope to test the waters and see how far they can go. Since this is a first, they can always play dumb until the NCAA says whoa!
