Let's all enjoy the fact that we had a better year than most predicted.

Onward and upward. Osbys example should serve the returning players well going into next season. If they work as hard as this group did, next year will be another nice ride.

Great post.

I choose to remember the big wins over KU, OSU, Texas, and ISU at home as well as wins at Baylor, WV, and Tech. It was fun to watch this team and I sure didn't expect us to make the NCAA tournament. NIT was as good as I thought we could be and maybe that's where we should have been, but I will take the NCAA birth and know the program is getting better.

They really exceeded my expectations. This year, we only had one player with any experience in the NCAA tournament. This year's experience will serve the returning players well next year.

I'm sad about the loss, but happy that our kids made it to the dance again. We broke the drought. Now, it's time to move on to better things ahead. And under LK, I believe we will.

Good points. And, we were a 10 seed and lost to a 7 seed, so we won't have to listen to the idiots complain about losing a tourney game we should have won.

It's probably not an accident that the only player on our team with any experience in the tournament was the one who played best.

Off season is when they get better and I'm confident these guys will improve a ton over the summer.

People don't understand what it takes to turn a program around. Look at Kelvin's early years. His first season mirrored this year almost identically. Similar record. Similar league record and standing. Same results in the first round of the NCAA Tournament. It took Kelvin how many seasons to win a Tournament game? It won't take Lon that long, I'd bet, but he has to change the culture here at OU. Drives me nuts to hear people wanting to cut corners to try and get things turned around a little quicker. Joe C is paying LK what he is, b/c he knows LK will build the program back up the right way. Part of that process means suffering through losses like this. But not for long.

Great post - people who know agree with you. Fools like Boca can go cheer for Duke. Proud of this team and happy we have our coach.

No poison we lost to the better team last night, great year wished we coulda played better down the stretch. Only sad thing is Ro graduating.

Really good post. Our program might have been at it's lowest ever and just to get back in the tourney in 2nd year is a great accomplishment. I think we will take another step next year too.
