Ok guys...this is our best conference win since when?

The win over Texas 2 years ago on Wayman day? Texas was ranked 9th back then.

Unfortunately, that year not only was it the best win, it turned out to be our last. It also shows how much Fitz and Plege have grown since then as that was also the night of their stupid trip to Dillards.

Team really showed a lot today. We may not be the most talented or deepest, but we really showed some fight and played the best team ball I've seen against a quality opponent in a long time.

Well what does it all mean? Are we better than we've played before today's game or not quite as good as we played today? It's hard to understand that question muchless this Sooner team. Lolz

At any rate I'm just excited about what I saw today!:chestram2:

It is pretty simple. When we have one ball handler, one passer, and one penatrater on the floor, we are a deeply flawed team. Decent teams can game plan against us and make us look just awful sometimes.

You cann't have too many. But, you have to have at least two. Blair is the 2nd man on the floor that can provide that. It doesn't matter that he just scored 5 points. OU is a better team with both Gooms and Carl in together. We have seen that in sequences all year. Everyone was better today. We had two guys getting it to the right post player or driving and kicking time after time. Even Pledger got 18 against a quality opponent.

If you guys want to argue who deserves the most minutes at the 3rd guard spot, Cam or Pledger, enjoy yourselves. I don't think it makes much difference. But, I do think that we need two ball handlers, two passers, and two penatraters on the court most of the time if the team wants to play big boy basketball.

I was a good one, although KSU will not be ranked for long. Funny how going into the game so many picked KSU to kill us. Now KSU and OU are both 1-3 in the Big 12 standings.

To me, that's what makes college basketball more fun than the NBA. These kids are just kids, a lot of them teenagers. They are so unpredictable.

It was great to see the fight in the Sooners today. Like night and day from their effort in Columbia.

Yeah I'm thinking they'll have a collapse akin to Texas 2010... Looks like they're already on that way. Regardless, still a solid (and much-needed) win from OU.
