Little over halfway through the conference season. As of now who is your guys' first and second team all big 12 as well as player of the year, coach of the year and freshman of the year

First team
Withey
Osby
Mcgruder
McLemore
Smart

Second team
Austin
?
Brown
Johnson
Jackson

Coach of the year- Weber
Player of the year- Mcgruder, Mclemore or Smart
Freshman of the year- Smart

Markel brown has got to be one of those teams. Osby is second team right now. He's got a chance down the stretch to play himself in.

Clyburn from IState probably needs to be 2nd team. I agree on the 1st team. I had Jackson on there instead of Smart earlier but Smart has played himself to 1st team. Agree with Weber but if OU can finish in the top 3 of the conference, it's Kruger.

Coach of the year is wide open. A lot depends on what those top 6 teams do the rest of the way.

Pierre Jackson has to be on the first team. He is one of the front runners for Big 12 POY.

first team (as of today):

Withey
Osby
McGruder
Smart
McLemore (if he continues to play like he has the last few games he would be replaced by Clyburn (ISU) or Brown (OSU))

Coach of the year: Weber
POY: Withey
Frosh of the year: 1 of the following 3 (Smart, McLemore, Austin (BU))

nothing against smart and jackson, but i don't know how you don't put rodriguez on the 2nd team at least.

Mclemore last 3 games ... 15 on 6-10 15 on 6-16 and 23 on 9-17 .... terrible ...

or the best frosh in the league .. and maybe the country

9.9 ppg on .341 shooting ... he should not be on the first or second team ..or third for that matter

If you can only pick 5, who do you leave off?

I put Jackson ahead of Osby, McGruder, and McLemore. I would probably leave off McLemore before I would leave off Osby or McGruder.

They would all definitely be my top 6 with Jackson 6th. Tough for me to leave him off the first team.

McLemore is in the top 3 in almost all offensive categories of big 12 stats, both for just conference games and non-conference. I was ready to leave him off until I saw that.

he's the most important player on one of the top three teams in the conference. 36.7 asst rate, 19.3 to rate, 3.2 steal rate. significantly better pg stats than smart, significantly better win-loss record than jackson.

and he's a very good defender.

He will be third team, doesn't have the talk behind him that the others do.

For one of the few times, I agree with Boulder, Rodriguez is a nice player but he's not all-conference.

McGruder is more important than Rodriguez.

McGruder is more important than Rodriguez.

no, he's not even close to as important. part of that is because kstate has competent backups for mcgruder and doesn't have one for rodriguez, i admit. but it's also that rodriguez is really good at playing the most impactful position in bball.
