Anyone else watching the championship game between WVU and Baylor??

WVU still hot.

Watching both teams.....great basketball.

I've noticed how all of the players are athletes. None of them are soft....and they are in shape.

WVU 22-14 at the end of the first quarter.

I guess I'm the only one watching....:o

WVU 39
BU 30

Halftime

WVU was up 13 at one time.

Also watching. Wish we had athletes like those 2 teams. Wishful thinking, I guess.

Is it just me or does a team beating us like ugly step children make them
giant killers. Sure seems like we are only a few minutes from that being true.

If they (WVU) don't run out of gas they have a good shot at baylor

End of the third...

65-44 WVU

WVU is the better team tonight.

Someone here said Martin wasn't that good or something of that sort... she's the type of player OU. Four 3's and 8 free throws...

OU could use 3 of her....

Whoever is teaching WVU how to play a pressing man defense, I want Sherri to hire them.

WVU plays keep-away the fourth quarter. I think they held the ball a little too long, needed to get into their offense a little quicker.

But they win 77--66.

Great game by the mountaineers!

WVU got it done, how in the heck did we beat them once this year?

As soon as they backed off, Baylor almost pulled it out. You have to be more aggressive than Baylor.

The biggest surprise? Kim Mulkey behaved like a mature coach.

West Virginia's offense is good enough to allow Baylor's Davis to shoot wide-open shots from the free throw line. They could score enough to offset the ones Davis made. Interesting strategy, not something OU could afford to do.

Players on both teams played under control. Nice to see.....wished we could see that game in, game out from OU.

I figured WVU had no shot at it, so I didn't bother to watch. Stupid me - because I would have enjoyed the BU beatdown a whole bunch.

I still think baylor will make a deep NCAA run..would like to see a baylor/uconn matchup again

Even though I had a ticket, I wasn't going to go, then my daughter texted me and ask me to go with her. Unfortunately we sat smack dab in the middle of Baylor fans, they were okay though. Great to see WV do a beat down on the Bears. Martin was just as deadly tonight as against us. West VA had really good ball movement and did a good job of hitting shots. I was more impressed with their rebounding and out hustling Baylor. Congrats to the Mountaineers and a hard fought victory. I doubt it will happen, but it sure would be nice to see Baylor lose a number one seed on this.

So do we all agree it's because Mike got top 10 players he won? BecuAse his best player wasn't even a top 100 vs up to 7 players on Mulkey team were top 1-20

It was grit athleticism shooters mental toughness rebounding decision making what all teams need it's not a magic formula. But all this talk of rankings kills me number one cox could not play in this game!

So if this WVU team is so athletic, how did they lose 10 conference games this season? There's more to this game than meets the eye! Mine at least.

I don't think anyone can deny the athleticism of martin and she is of course just a piece. They play with 6/7 kids only - it catches up to all teams but my point was I just don't feel you can't believe just because you don't get all top 1-20 kids you can't win- as you state- there's more to this game is spot on!
