I think we get 5 in. Baylor has to beat us on Saturday to have a chance.

Agreed. I've said all along that a top five Big 12 finish is a ticket to the dance. I think we'll be okay if we finish with a 3 and 2 record in our remaining games. Win 4 of 5 and we're in for sure.

if we win 3 we are a top 8 seed

we get in with 2 more wins as long as we don't lose to TCU

1. Kansas
1. K State (tie for title but KU gets top seed)
3. OU (we win out)
4. O State (they lose @ ISU & K State)
5. ISU
6. WVU (they could beat OState Sat)
7. Baylor

The rest don't matter. Big 12 gets 5 in. WVU and Baylor go to the NIT.

How do you figure WVU over Baylor?

I could OSU dropping below us as well...

I like your scenario better, Boulder! Sure hope you're right, but I would rather see us win three or more to make it virtually impossible for the committee to ignore what this team has accomplished.

I think Baylor folds after we beat the Sat. WVU is only 1 game back of Baylor and I believe they have an easier closing schedule.

I think we finish in at least a tie for 3rd.

West Virginia has a much tougher schedule than Baylor down the stretch. WVU has road games at OU and Kansas....and home games with ISU, Baylor, and OSU. I don't see any way that they finish above Baylor in the conference.

I think Texas has a better chance of passing WVU in the standings than WVU passing Baylor.

WVU final six is KSU (lost), KU, OSU, OU, Baylor and ISU. It is not possible to have a tougher final six games unless you are looking at home and road games or someone still had to play a team like KSU twice.

Obviously, I didn't know their schedule that well. Yeah they won't finish ahead of Baylor. I still say Baylor folds and misses the tourney.

OU getting the 3 seed in the Big 12 Tournament works better for me, given that it would put us in a night game, instead of an 11:30am tipoff.

I think Coach wins COY too if we finish 3rd. Osby should make 1st all-Big 12 too.

1. Kansas - Withey is something nobody else has. Have experience and Self > Ford
2. OSU - most talented team but 2nd best. May go farthest in tourney thanks to Smart.
3. KState- solid but not as many big play makers as OSU
4. ISU - smoked OU in Ames. We'll see in Norman.
5. OU - good upper classmen but best freshman out.
6. Baylor - talented but miserable coaching - game in Norman is huge
7. WVU - solid D, but little scoring, see Texas and TCU
8. Texas - even with Kobongo they still have no offense.
9. Tech - was bad enough to go 0-18 if it werent for Big 12 being so bad this year
10 TCU - Was bad enough to go 0-18

This is a good list. I was thinking that I might switch OSU and K St. But, mayby not. The OU Iowa St. game is probably for 4th place. It could even be for a tie for 3rd if a Poke Choke pops up.
