Stoked that McGusty earned a couple honors. I was surprised Allen was a unanimous selection and made third team All Big XII. His potential is there, but I don't think he was one of the 15 best players in the conference this season.

All Defensive Team is largely by reputation, which is interesting that not a single player selected to that team was a unanimous pick this year. I would have liked to seen a more detailed voting breakdown for that category.

I thought Underwood would be coach of the year.

Doolittle average 10/7 in conference play. Just need to improve efficiency inside.
McGusty 14.4/2.3

I thought Underwood would be coach of the year.

guess my stance is who did the most with the least.. Not saying Self didn't do a good job, but look at what he has to work with.

I'd vote for Underwood as well,

Self deserved coach of the year. This is the deepest the Big XII has ever been, and he went 16-2 and won the league by 4 games. That's absurd.

not sure i agree with that...without looking anything up....the Sampson/Barnes/Self/Knight/Gillespie/Sutton era was pretty deep in several seasons (in a row). OU, KU (twice), UT, OSU all made the Final Four. Mizzou, OU and ATM to the Elite Eight. Tech to Sweet 16. Colorado had a team that beat both UT and KU in Boulder the year they were in the Final Four together....but Buffs ran into Izzo in the first round.

Wow. Landon Lucas and Matt Thomas don't even make one of the 3 teams...... insane
