Bolden on Campus

No disrespect to Bolden, but players in Dallas are never as good as advertised.

I'll make sure to let Deron Williams, Chris Bosh and LaMarcus Aldridge know. I forgot to mention some guy named Dennis Rodman first time around.

Exactly. Back in 1988, both Stacey King and Harvey Grant started as "twin towers" in the post.

And everything I've heard about Lattin is that he continues to develop his handles and jump shot. With his athleticism he sounds like an ideal stretch 4 down the road.

He's a top 20ish recruit. With offers from UK and Duke. He starts day 1.

I think he would start from day 1. He and Lattin would make a nice combo.

Tell Bobo Morgan, Lebryant Nash, , Prince Ibeh, and the countless others about them too.

To be fair...Dennis Rodman was only 5'9" coming out of high school.....he grew AFTER he graduated. Went to 6'8"-6'9" after high school......so that is hardly a fair comparison.

Julius Randle, Darrell Arthur, Grant Hill, etc. all come to mind too.

Come on, every big city has a lot of busts, but most have a TON of great NBA players too.

Absolutely. Metropolitan areas like DFW and Houston are gold mines for D1 recruits. I remember the first time I refereed a game that Rashard Lewis played in was a JV game. He went on to play 16 years in the NBA making 2 all-star teams. All these major cities have their share of boom and bust players and they mature at different rates.

Grant Hill? Like the Duke Grant Hill? Maybe he was born in Dallas but I know he played high school ball in VA

Gentlemen I have posted info on this board because OU basketball fans have a hard
time getting info and I considered this a basketball enthusiast board. However,
people have taken my post and copied it to a pay site that is mainly for football.
Therefore I will no longer be posting info on this board.

I'm sorry that this happened and I hope someday you reconsider. I'm a big OU hoops fan and I really appreciate objective insight. We'll miss your post.
