We just offered 2017 PG TJ Starks from Lancaster TX. TJ is a 2* but he goes to school within 10 minutes of Marques Bolden -- Bolden retweeted Starks's tweet about OU offer.

Wonder if there's any connection.

I suspect it is simply the coaches don't care one bit what recruiting services think. I think they make their own evaluations and disagree with the 2 star rating.

I might have to try to make a basketball game when I'm down in that area for work in Feb/March. I'll be staying in Desoto, which is near Lancaster and Cedar Hill. All hot beds for D1 athletes in football/basketball.

Agreed - I know a few old coaches who do scouting reports for various services .. Some of it is a joke ...

But Stevie Wonder can see this kid has fluidity, vision, handles, and a decent stroke ..without seeing him live its difficult to gauge the competition etc but he appears to have a tight game ...and I'll wager he is Boldens bud ....

Cousins was a 2 star if I do recall...how did that turn out for us so far? I trust Kruger and his evaluation system.
