Bolden on the record down to 4

Maybe he's thinking about getting a one and done and staying close to home on a team where he will get a bunch of time and be the main guy and close to his family.

It's not like Bolden is a top 10 player on any recruiting site. He might not start for any other team. Look at diallo. Went to ku. Draft stock went down. Same thing for labissiere.

Tcu is the one school on his list that increases his odds of being one and done.

He didn't even give them an official. 3 team race here.

He is the number 1 center in the nation...

TCU has always been on his list. He may have them as a token hometown team. Nobody really knows.

May be true but still not a top 10 recruit on anyone's rankings.

12. Scout
16. Rivals

True, but high school recruiting rankings favor those players who spend a lot of time with the ball in their hands. Point guards, combo guards, and shooting guards dominate the top of those rankings (along with a few athletic SFs).

There are only 5 post players listed in 247's top 20 recruits for 2016, and 3 of them are stretch 4s who barely weigh 215 pounds at 6'10". Bolden and Adebayo are the elite "bigs" in this class, and Bolden is the biggest of the big.

That might be a sign that the bigs in that class aren't that great.

And your statement is false. scout had 7 bigs in the top 10 in the 2015 class
4 centers in the top 6 in 2014
4 pf in the top 8 in 2013

Preseason Freshman of the Year
Cheick Diallo, Kansas, F, Fr., 6-9, 220, Mali, Africa/Our Savior New American [N.Y.]

Sometimes rankings get it wrong. Also he was sure fire top5 pick. Plays about 9 mins a game and 4 points!
