True, but high school recruiting rankings favor those players who spend a lot of time with the ball in their hands. Point guards, combo guards, and shooting guards dominate the top of those rankings (along with a few athletic SFs).

There are only 5 post players listed in 247's top 20 recruits for 2016, and 3 of them are stretch 4s who barely weigh 215 pounds at 6'10". Bolden and Adebayo are the elite "bigs" in this class, and Bolden is the biggest of the big.

That might be a sign that the bigs in that class aren't that great.

And your statement is false. scout had 7 bigs in the top 10 in the 2015 class
4 centers in the top 6 in 2014
4 pf in the top 8 in 2013
