I didn't catch this but apparently Markell Brown was doing some pretty good jawing after the game. We might want to remember that when they come to Norman in March.

I would say what Markel did was more than simple trash talking. He went out of his way to Taunt them after the game was clearly in hand. It was blatant and and uncalled-for and i am just glad he didn't' get T'd up. For me, that kind of "show" has no place in the game, not to mention he looked like a 3rd grader flailing his arms.

I didn't see it, but it doesn't surprise me. Celebrating is one thing, but I hate taunting from any player. Brown got a T earlier this season for sticking his head in the opposing team's huddle. He's got to grow up. :eddie187_jpg_xs:

He did not get a technical for going into the Stanford huddle. There was no foul.

The only thing I saw him do was beat on his chest going down the court. If that is what the poster is referring to then they need to relax.

I didn't see him do that, but he has been in the middle of that sort of thing several times this year. I can't remember him getting any T's, but he does get in to some things he shouldn't. He never seems to loose his cool, just likes to joke and talk trash. This is somthing he needs stop before it starts costing him and the team.

That said, this is what having a rival is about. I want there to be some bad blood on both sides. I'm not a fan of my teams players hugging and cutting up with our rivals. I don't want anything dirty, just a dislike between teams.

Jawing aside, I think Brown has the most talent of anyone on their roster. It wouldn't surprise me to see him as an All-Conference player by his junior year.

Oh ya.. JP Olukemi, Markel Brown, Lebryan Nash, and Brian Williams give them a fantastic set of 2's and 3's for the next 3 years.

They have Brian Williams and Michael Cobbins (two well thought of recruits) redshirting this year.

I don't know. I'm cool with a Frosh getting that amped about Bedlam. I thought it was great.
