I have seen both of these guys on TV recently. Over or under 900 pounds combined?

Considering they are about 167 inches of total height I would definitely have to go with the over.

Prime examples of one thing that is really wrong in America. We are an obese society. We really need to get on a health kick. Obesity is costing our society billions of dollars each year.

The crazy thing is these are two guys that were elite college basketball players that had more than just a cup of coffee in the NBA and then have just let themselves go.

I would guess they both have put on anywhere around 150-200 pounds since their playing days. You would think a person that had to keep their body in good enough physical condition to play in the Association for an extended period of time would still participate in regular exercise and have half way decent eating habits permanently instilled in them.

I tend to agree but would acknowledge that perhaps they got away with eating badly because they worked out so much. Micheal Phelps eats some insane amount every day because he works out so much. I think I read 6,000 calories a day but that seems crazy to even write.

When he is training for the run up to the Olympics, he will eat up to 10,000 a day. Lots of athletes put on weight when they stop playing, metabolism slows down but eating habits don't.

Maybe Reeves is enamored with the Hideaway pizza Big Country and so he eats more than a couple a week? ;)

Well eating habits are harder to change. And it's a lot easier to do less when you have no reason to do anything. most of the weight gain is more because they have no reason to stay in shape. Look at Michael Jordan more recently. I bet he's probably 50 lbs heavier than he was at his highest playing weight with the Bulls.
