Bubble Watch

I’m not saying we didn’t play well the final 10 games, but it speaks to how low the standards have fallen under Moser that we have a significant portion of the fan base essentially praising the team and coach for playing a third of the season the way they should be expected to play the entire year. Just crazy stuff. Playing with energy and effort and looking like a competent outfit for the entire season should be a given. Only doing that for a third of the season isn’t praiseworthy.

As for Moser, even in the last month, we still see his inability to coach in close games. Vandy is technically a close win only because he gagged away a 19-pt lead. Texas was another game that should have been a much more comfortable win. Our other wins were blowouts, and when we found ourselves in a legitimately tight game last night, we again came up short. This time, in a game that put the nail in the season’s coffin.

Another article that explains the process, but I’m sure lots of conspiracy theorists will continue to deny.

The standard for Oklahoma basketball is very low right now. That is obvious now. We, as fans, just gotta deal with it.

But I think the new AD is gonna just really have to see for himself. A full year of an empty LNC and mediocre basketball.

Careful, the flat-earthers on the board will not like this post. There will be at least a couple “I don’t think it’s our noncon schedule that’s hurting us, it’s just the number of losses we have that has us on the bubble” posts.
It’s true. Maybe don’t have a 9 game losing streak

Someone else posted that replacing those games with 150 ranks does very little

Still in Bracket Matrix for 11 total updated brackets. 5star guy had all 368 teams predicted last year - basically says we have better metrics/resume than VCU/SDSU should they not win their conference titles. Has those two and OU/Texas as the last 4 teams fighting for two spots.

Holding out the hope lol

I could see us sneak into the field with a VCU loss to St. Joe’s today imo.

I know they don’t look at last 10 anymore, but if it were to ever come into play, I could see it happening if it came down to us, Texas, and Auburn for the last spot. We beat both of them recently and are definitely playing better down the stretch than both of them.

Watching Saint Louis is frustrating. 6 minutes without scoring and 15 turnovers lol. Also committing fouls 90 feet away Dayton has 10 minutes in the double bonus. We really need SLU to win the A10 to have a chance imo

Not sure we would have been in anyway, but the A10 being a guaranteed two-bid league now probably ends any hope.
