Bubble Watch

Why is it crazy?

For starters it’s all lip service until we see if actually happen.

And moser is a failure. There isn’t a way to defend him. Every year has been underwhelming

As a fan, I’m tired of it
I find it hard to believe Denny would be so outspoken about additional resources without a plan to get them/already have commitments for it.

It seems most years that there’s a surprise team to two that gets in. But is there usually this much consensus on who the last few teams will be from the ones that predict it?

No I was just reading one the better bracket sites and the guy made that exact point. Basically, almost all the sites agree on all 68 teams, and that’s very rare.

Also... if comparing resume's side by side...

SMU went 8-10 in the ACC, finished 11th

We went 7-11 in the SEC (much tougher conference), and finished 12th

SMU lost to Vandy by 19

We beat Vandy on the road

And we had a much tougher SOS

All of this to say... a team that goes under .500 in the ACC should not be in the tournament imo.

The problem with SMU is that they smoke us in the ratings. They are 37th in NET, we're 48th. That's a big gap to overcome. Even Auburn is 38.

Is UCF ahead of us? Shouldn't be. We should be in over Mizzou. They might could leave Ohio Miami out (doubtful, but maybe).

How is Mizzou ahead of us with their NET?

Auburn has the 16 losses problem. Still a die roll either way. How many actual slots are open from that list?

Auburn likely won’t get in, either. Miami, Missouri, SMU, and Texas are the teams most people seem to think will be the final four auto bids.

Welp. There ya go

First or second of the first four out.
