If someone can score in the paint (similar to Thomas), it's not unrealistic for us to be a Final Four contender.

OU needs a little more than that in my opinion. Post production is important but I think OU also needs bench production. I am actually more worried about bench production than post production.

Thomas averaged about 11 points a game. If Spangler, Cousins and Woodard all add 2 points a game, that is 6 points. If the starter replacing Thomas adds 6 points a game, I think OU is actually positive in points. If the starter adds 6 points a game with more rebounds, blocked shots and better defense, OU actually might be notably better.

Buford, Odomes, James, Walker and a combination of Lattin, Manyang and McNease (I assume Lattin or Manyang will start) must produce off the bench. I view the loss of Frank Booker as a bigger deal than most people. He was our most productive bench player in Big XII play.
