OK, call me a stalker. I'm not a twitter guy, but non-members can look at open twitter pages. With the lack of info this time of year, I sometimes go to the OU basketball twitter which in turn can lead to some of the players' pages. Well, James and Buford kind of had a back and forth dunking competition going on. And needless to say, it looks like Christian is healing fairly nicely. Buford's dunk is also sick. We'll be pretty athletic for the next few years, guys.

Coachtalk what have you heard on Buford lately? I had heard recently from a relative of a player that he looks very good in practice and holds his own against Buddy every day. Obviously this is second hand info so I just wanted to get your take on it.

Good to hear! I'm excited about the depth as well. We definitely need Lattin to step up a bit as well as Manyang for post play... but I really like our guard depth for sure.
The one practice I saw showed me Buford is very smooth. He reminded me of a little bigger Cam Clark. He's athletic and strong. He didn't do anything spectacular but was very comfortable on the floor. You could just tell he is a confident player.
