I have to say they were big today. That was a very tough environment even at home. They made a ton of plays that didnt go on stat sheet. Buford scored some and James was solid. I cant remember any glaring frosh mistakes from them today.

The best play I saw from James was the backdoor bounce pass to Lattin that somehow got semi-blocked and he missed the dunk. James needs more minutes. I know he got stripped on a layup and Buddy was chewing him out for not blocking out on his last rotation. I'm waiting for him to cut loose on a 3-pointer. He was deadly in HS as a junior.

Buford was 7-8 from the FT line, but hasn't hit an outside shot that I remember. Still I thought this was his best game. He just seemed more comfortable in there.

James needs to learn that this is not highschool any longer and he cant drive to the basket amongst the trees and get off a shot. He will be blocked, stripped or manhandled. If he could develope a pull up jump shot he would be deadly.

Not like he did in high school, but he can do it if he's not held by the jersey like the picture in the Oklahoman this morning. OU shot about half the free throws they should have. Manny fouls were not called. I thought the league was going to cut down on the rough play. That policy lasted until league play started, and now they let certain teams hand check, grab the shirt, knock guys sideways, or any thing else they want to do. Puzzled in Norman!
