BYU/UConn. This has been rather interesting. A 12th seed is giving UConn all they want primarily because they are not playing intimidated. It's the other way around. They seem to be intimidating UConn under the basket.

Jennifer Hamson at 6-7, is giving UConn fits under the basket. Bailey, who has hit nine threes all year, has hit two in the first half. BYU is five of ten from three, while UConn is zero for eight. UConn has a 30-29 lead after trailing for much of the half. Stewart and Hartley have almost disappeared.

Really liked the way BYU played in the first half. In the second half - too many offensive rebounds for Mosqueda-Lewis and Hamson needs to be a bit more physical with Dolson inside.

Hamson was very physical in the first half. But, UConn turned up the volume a bit in the second half, and BYU quit making impossible shots, only one of ten from three in the second half.

Mosqueda-Lewis: 19 pts, 13 rebounds, 8 offensive.
Stewart and Hartley showed up in the second half.
Hamson just made the WNBA draft.

Syb, who do you see in the final. Any chance ND or UConn fall before?

I doubt that anyone beats ND or UConn. It would take a bad day on their part and an exceptional day for another team. They do things better. Most teams fall apart when they see their uniforms.

We'll see how A$M does. He has himself a very nice team with athletes that can play endline to endline. He has a good PG and a big girl in the middle. I'm not seeing an upset but I'll bet they give them a good effort.

Hamson took an official visit to OU coming out of high school, it would have been nice to have her and Griffin.

Blair did a great job of 1) controlling the 3 point line and 2) using their size advantage in the middle. We failed to do both of those things.

Not a guy to count out. He might have a shot at Notre Dame but I don't think he matches up as well with Connecticut.
