Odd Trend or Pattern

For the last several years (probably going back to 2016) and under both Lon and Porter, we have played pretty well in the non-conference, started reasonably well in conference and then played really poorly during the last half of the big 12 regular season. Just look like different teams really. It would be interesting to hear Porter and Lon discuss why they think this has been the case.

We just look emotionally and mentally drained. No "edge" at all. It is a long season for everyone, but we really seem to have hit the proverbial "wall". Hopefully, we can snap out of it and finish the year a little better like last year. Man do we really need a big that can protect the rim and score in the low post.

The Big 12 is just very good top to bottom than it's ever been. Look at OU's recruiting from 2018-2021. It was abysmal. OU needs to be better in the portal, but it also needs to build a solid foundation again in high school recruiting.
