C.J. Henry transfers to Southern Nazarene

IMO, he is just trying to get some exposure to make a jump overseas...whether that be next year or down the road. His past situations, (Memphis and KU) didn't really afford him that luxury.

don't know how much exposure he'll be getting in Bethany, OK

Plenty to play basketball professionally....if you can play they will come watch you...

The NBA, NBDL and Overseas is littered with players from small colleges....

Yep, there are plenty of ways to get overseas, and NAIA basketball in the SAC is one of the better ways in all of small college ball.

Beat me to it...putting up big numbers in the SAC is significantly better than minimal time at school like KU and Memphis.

So true!!! I know at least 4 guys who have played for OBU in the last 2-6 yrs, who are tearing it up overseas. The guy they had last yr who won all of the NAIA awards, Nate Brumfeld, he regularly had scouts from all of the leagues in attendance at the games. Mike Fraser got some looks from thgis side before going overseas. OBU has a kid named Swinton who goes about 6-9 and is very strong/athletic. He came in from Wake Forest/G-Tech or somewhere similar. He will get some looks this coming season because he has a big/strong pro body, and he is super athletic. Reminds me of Mike Fraser who went 6-10 and was chiselled, but the Swinton kid is a much better offensive player than Mike was. Mike is making nice money overseas blocking shots and rebounding......
