..... those coaches no a little bit about talent
Calvin? Is that you?
Out of desperation? If he didn't have a realistic shot at qualifying, why would we even offer him?
he had offers from WVU Baylor and UF ..... those coaches no a little bit about talent
I talked to a Baylor coach about Newell. They were high on him. At the time they were recruiting him they were unsure about Lace Dunn's decision on staying or going pro. They thought Newell compared favorably to Curtis Jerrells. Should be a good player. Congrats on the pick-up.
I laugh at the attacks on me on this board. No matter what topic I bring up the stalkers appear to try and shoot it down. It says something about them, not about me.
Notice I don't spend any time trying to discredit other opinions. I'm not a loser.
thanks DFW ... do you think there is any chance that udoh comes back?
zero chance- he should be picked between 10-20 in the first round. It would not surprise me to see the Thunder pick him. That would be a great fit for Ekpe and the Thunder given the offensive pieces that they have.
I don't think it's possible to have too many long 6'10" post players who block shots and rebound at a high rate. Neither is an ideal NBA center, but they're both an upgrade over Krstic. Presti is really big on size-skill ratio and loves long athletes, and it's easy to see why if you've watched the Thunder's team defense against the Lakers. Udoh would be a good fit for the Thunder if he's still available.I thinnk he may be to Similar to Serge? But I would still take him on the thunder roster.

Did Gordon Hayward declare?
Yeah, I don't see Udoh dropping to #19 either. The guy I really thought would be a good long-term fit was Orton, but that's suddenly looking unlikely as well. People were surprised to see him declare, but then he suddenly shot up on everyone's draft board from a potential mid-to-late first rounder to a lottery pick.Plus its obvious Presti believes in keeping the post open so there is plenty of room for cutters and dribble drives. Udoh fits the bill, for sure, but I doubt he'll be there at pick #19. Not to hijack a compelling post, but I think they might actually take James Anderson or Larry Sanders. If they don't have a trade or a euro in mind, I'm not sure who they get at #19. Orton, Monroe, Henry, Patterson, Whiteside, Montejunas, Davis...they'll all be gone by then.
