Cam Clark's NBA draft stock

As of now I would be extremely disappointed if he wasn't selected in the 2nd round. Nash is projected between late 1st/early 2nd, I would easily take him over Lebryan Nash. Talent wise they are pretty much on par I think, and Cam has much better character. Cam's lack of off the court issues and showing this major improvement over 1 year should get him selected.
 
Intersting site. I will say, there's no way I would ever pick "The Flopper" Smart over Julius Randle in any world.

I'd take Smart over Randle. But Embiid number 1...eww. He didn't look very good last night at least. And how is Wiggins 3!!! I took my father to the game last night, and of course there were 50 gheyhawks surrounding us. My father hates KU as much or more than he does UT, them and Ed Hightower. Of course there were some pretty young children in front us, and my anxiety level goes up as soon as I see them hoping Pops can keep the yells clean. So Embiid tangles up with Clark fairly early in the game and to his credit tried his best to keep his mouth under wraps. However, the get "Inbred" off him! Get "Inbred" off him! Came ringing out a few times. He did pretty damn good...for him anyway. :clap

Didn't even get drafted, like some of us suggested.

While I wouldn't say I'm a fan of Cam, I do appreciate what he did while at OU. That said, the dude just doesn't have NBA game. He should do quite well overseas though.
 
Those mocks, anytime before about a month or two before the draft, are pretty much garbage. They give no thought to how a guys' game may or may not translate to the NBA. They simply look for guys that are doing well in college, and plug them in accordingly. Cam is a perfect example of that. And while I think Buddy is more of an NBA fit than Cam, I think there is a little bit of that in Buddy's predictions for next year.
 
Getting drafted in the late second round is worthless anyway...better off signing with a summer league team of your choice.

Somtimes going in the 2nd round at all is worthless if you get picked by the wrong team (See: Minor, Ryan)
 
Cam will probably be on a summer league team then head overseas. Is Tyler Neal already overseas? Does anyone know have any updates on Cade Davis, Pledger, Fitz, or any of the recent overseas guys?

I don't know this for sure, but I kind of doubt that is the direction Tyler goes. Wasn't he the guy that wanted to go to med school? If so, I imagine he'll turn his attention to that.

How so, when I didn't even post in the thread originally?

There was a lot of talk about Cam getting drafted during the season. There is a lot of talk currently about where Buddy might be able to get drafted next year. Some of the Cam talk died off recently because of it being the offseason, and the focus on Thomas and other recruiting. Whether than start a new thread, I bumped this one.

Threads get bumped all the time to revisit old topics. No reason to be a drama queen about it, and stir the pot. Talk about Cam and the draft, or don't. But your post was worthless.

Whether you participated in the original thread or not is completely irrelevant, as for the value of my post, I am certain you are correct, but thread bumps like this actually have a negative value and are worse than worthless. This bump is classless and totally unnecessary.

Oh, and for future reference, if Buddy doesn't get drafted, a similar bump about him would also be classless.
