Cameron Ridley

Ouch! A big loss for the Longhorns. Ridley is one player on that team OU doesn't have an answer for.

Watched them a couple of times and looked like he was becoming a beast. Ouch.

We play them late; possible he'll be back by then?

Feb. 8 in Norman and 27th in Austin---so if it's a 4-6 week timetable there's definitely a chance. Unfortunately, I doubt he'll be able to return that quickly after a broken bone requiring surgery. Of course, I'm no expert, so let's hope I'm wrong. I want OU to beat the Horns at their best.

And it's a foot injury so he won't be able to really be on it at all during that timetable. There's no way he'll be in game shape after not being able to put weight at all on the floor for 4-6 weeks.

he was really playing well. Smart had him motivated.

Tough break for Texas (literally). They play Connecticut this week without their center who also broke a bone. Then they start off B12 play with Tech, K-State, and TCU. Their harder conference games are on the back end of the schedule. They gives them time to adapt to a different style of play.
