We already see that the Pledger, Cade, Nick, Drew, Cam, and Newell will get minutes. Will we see minutes by CJ, Tyler, Carl, and Barry. We don't have great players, but I think depth is our best chance at being competitive.

I think Blair, Neal, and CJ all earned more minutes based on their play tonight. Big Puma just did not impress me as much tonight as he did in the last game

CJ has got to step up this year and be big on the boards I understand you all like to cheer for the walk-on but honore didn't/couldn't hang with TSU tonight...

But with the news about ahmed, we might not have any other choice if we have foul trouble like we did tonight

Puma isn't your standard walk-on. He was the SWAC Freshman of the Year before he transfered to OU.

Puma actually has the second most division one games played behind Cade on this roster, SWAC games I know but still.

I think Puma can play much better. He looks like he is rushing his decision making a bit. He also needs to get ready to develop a back to the basket game. We don't need his face up game. We have Nick and Fitz for that. BOOMER SOONER BABY!!!

The better his shape and conditioning gets the better I think we will see him play. He can elevate for a guy his size. Drop a few lbs an I think he'll progress like Fitz has so far. I like Big Puma's potential, we just need that potential to become production.

agreed. he has the body and enough of a vertical leap that his identity as a scorer should be on the low block with his back to the basket. no jumpers until the game slows back down mentally for him, because he seems so indecisive when he has the ball. i also hope he breaks that habit of making himself small when he gets the ball in good position to score. go up quick and strong. don't pump-fake 2-3 times.

They should be deep because the difference from one player to another once you get past the first 3 or 4 is negligible...I do think Capel already knows who he can trust though and that is the most important thing...i am guessing that he is looking for guys that will give maximum effort and minimum mistakes...
