IMO, as long as Blair is starting, we won't be competing for Big 12 championships and probably won't advance to the tournament. He's not a BCS level starter, but he could be a good backup.

I would say he reminds me of an Omar Leary, except he's bigger and not as good of a shooter. Both are pretty bad on defense. Leary, for those of you who don't remember, didn't start the year we advanced to the elite 8.

Like I said, he's the worst ball-handling starting PG I've seen.

The kid has some talent and can help, but he's just not starting material on a Big 12 team. Especially one that wants to compete for post-season play.
 
Epically bad stretch for Blair. Technical foul gifts two points (although don't know what he did... didn't look like anything to me), then two turnovers lead directly to five points. Basically ended the game for OU right there.
 
The fact that he's the best option you guys have should also count against Capel pretty heavily. It's the most important position on the floor and you're relying on a last-minute transfer. Even with the TMG fallout, there should've already been someone else in place. Blair should be coming off the bench regardless.
 
Are you serious? I've watched TONS of college basketball this year and he is by far the WORST. Turnover machine! Don't come at me with have you ever watched BBall. Dumb. Oops another turnover....Attrocious!
 
You guys can critique and criticize certain players' game all you want, it's obviously deserved. But please do it without the namecalling of said player(s).

He's not even the worst guard on our own team.
 
If Capel starts Carl Blair the next game, I will be pissed...we were down 55-50 until Carl completely ****ed everything up

I am sorry I have to side with the other guys, another poster bashing the players no we are not very good and no Blair is not the second coming of Isaih Thomas but give us a break he is by far not the worst guard to ever play the game. Get Real!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!



I played once and I will promise you I was worse, my guess is you were also.
