Will they offer? Do we accept?

(Sorry if this has been discussed)

I say we go and force this team to be humiliated by losing in the second round.

To the OP, the CBI would cost us money. JC doesn't want to do that, so we are not going.

I remember they have taken teams with losing records before from power conferences.

Also no unless you want me showing up with a bag over my head if it is a home game.

My bad then; I kind of thought the thread was meant to be facetious. Sorry Irish. I wouldn't even know what to think about a CBI invite; on the one hand I think 'maybe they magically put it together all of a sudden and make a run' and on the other I think about the OSU game...

Heck Oregon State won the thing last year and they were 14-17 to end the regular season. That is pathetic.

True. More game experience is never a bad thing, but would it do any good when we're still not sure who will be back or not next season.

LOL no worries I am not sure if I meant the question to be a joke or not either.

Here was the CBI field last year (records to end the regular season):

Oregon St (13-17)
Stanford (18-13)
Wichita St (16-16)
Buffalo (21-11)
Nevada (21-12)
UTEP (19-12)
Wyoming (19-13)
Northeastern (18-12)
Houston (21-11)
Green Bay (22-10)
Vermont (23-8)
Richmond (18-15)
St. John's (16-17)
Troy (19-12)
Charleston (26-8)
Boise St (19-12)

Of course there is also the CollegeInsider.com postseason tournament, which had its inaugural season last year. The 16 team field included:

Mt. St. Mary's (19-13)
James Madison (19-14)
Rider (19-12)
Liberty (22-11)
Belmont (19-12)
Evansville (17-13)
The Citadel (20-12)
Old Dominion (21-10)
Drake (17-15)
Idaho (16-15)
Portland (19-12)
Pacific (19-12)
Kent State (19-14)
Oakland (22-12)
Bradley (18-14)
Austin Peay (19-13)

I don't think we're good enough to get into this one. They don't seem to allow teams with losing records.

If they tripled the NCAA field would we be invited and what region would we play in?

I think we are a 38 seed and get shipped to the super-south-Arizona region

I've always kind of wanted to do this. For some reason I didn't last year with the Thunder. Now it's too late for them.
