I'm hoping James comes into the year a little lighter to hopefully regain some quickness to the hoop. I thought that's what was missing last year despite not being able to hit the 3 consistently enough. James is a huge key for OU this year. :OUbball-logo:

Maybe get minutes at the 4?

I'm guessing he's the primary backup for McGusty and Odomes at the wing positions. If he has his shooting stroke and quickness back he could average 20-25 minutes per game. He's too small for the 4 in my opinion.

I agree just trying to figure out why he bulked up so much. I was thinking he could play it to have a 4 guard lineup at times.

He is certainly looking more like a grown man.

Despite his baby face, I thought he looked pretty much like a grown man last season. Photos can be deceiving, but he really doesn't look to me like he's bulked up that much from last season.

I'm a big fan of Christian, but at the moment I'm more anxious to see what effect that little guy in the all-crimson jersey (left side of photo) will have on the team.

I don't know that he necessarily bulked up a lot. I think he leaned out a lot and bulked a little. He had kinda that baby fat look about him last year.

This was my first thought as well after seeing the photo. I know it's just a photo but it certainly looks like he's worked on his strength and conditioning. If he has regained some of the quickness we saw early from him then watch out. This is certainly a good sign imo.
