Cincinnati has a stud & Memphis has boatloads of talent. However if either team was a 1st round game I’d like OU’s chances. Memphis is young and isn’t as good a team as their talent suggests. Cincinnati lost an edge since Cronin left (not a fan of his) and they rely so much on one player.

Also noticed Cincinnati has Zach Harvey, top 40 player OU was in a battle with KU & others. I looked up why he landed there & said that he got in trouble with the law in HS over co-ed stuff. I wondered why OU quit recruiting him or all the sudden he lost interest in OU. By far the thing that makes me respect LK the most is his integrity.

Memphis lost their two best players (Wiseman - NCAA ruled inelgilible) and DJ Jeffries (injury out for another month). They are hanging in there, but it's going to be tough without those two guys. If they did still have those two guys, they would easily be a tournament team.

Cincy looks like a totally different team. They are more of an offensive team this year....no more "West Virginia-ish" (defense/fouling, rebounding, and poor shooting) play for them.

Memphis’ “misfortune” is off there own doing. More will come years later.

Oh....I'm with you BC. If Memphis were Kansas, Wiseman would still be playing and be up for all-conference honors about now.
