Consider me a fan of this Missouri team come tournament time.

I noticed that.

I wonder how many fans have noticed that our team goes through the crowd and thanks them, win or lose.

This Mizzou team does seem a little less.....thuggish(?) than in prior years.

LOL at Kim English trying to teach Fitzgerald to stop bringing the ball down. We don't have anybody on staff who can tell him that? "Drew" all you can do from there is piss on it or turn it over.

The next time he brings the ball down he should have to sit the ENTIRE game.

It's CRIMINAL how horrific some of these guys fundamentals are. Cam Clark dribbles like a 5 year old. Washington can't hit the rim from 6 feet. Drew plays like his left hand is cut off.

I noticed the comment about the Missouri team being more selfish last year under Anderson's system and how it caused discord at the end of the year. I had never heard that before.

Missouri and Iowa State are the only other teams in the Big 12 I will root for come tournament time. I love Mizzou's team.

When Pressey came in, many players apparently felt he received preferential treatment over Dixon because Anderson had known Phil his whole life.

English went from being our leading scorer to third or fourth on the team and struggled all year. He and Anderson apparently were not too fond of each other, and I guess English often went out and played for himself at times (a complete 180 from the player he was before and is now). Had Anderson stayed, English was not going to come back.

Last year's offense really lacked defined roles, and a lot of guys seemed to have no understanding of what was expected of them on that end of the floor. If Ratliffe wasn't involved in the offense early, he essentially shut it down for the rest of the game.

It was a toxic mix that's been completely resolved this year. That more than anything has been Haith's biggest accomplishment IMO.

I'm not a big Mizzou fan in general, and with them bolting to the SEC, I probably won't root for them too much. I generally pull for KU to lose too. And Baylor/Drew just seem slimy.

LOL.....who does that leave? I could root for ISU. :)

I could root for ISU. :)

Does anyone NOT root for ISU?

They consistently seem like the hardest team to root against. I wasn't a big fan of them during the Wayne Morgan era, but other than that it's been hard to dislike that program.

Agreed.

I don't mind the Mizzou team, but I can't stand Mizzou fans in general. So, go Iowa aggy!!

Cam really looks bad, he is so out of control...his body and legs dont communicate and constantly go in different directions...probably the most disappointing player I've seen at OU that came in with some raw ability...

Fitz and Osby both have a serious problem getting stripped...ud think u would learn...

Washington just has a knack for boards but couldn't average 10 a game in my church league if he had to rely on his offensive game...really weird to watch of a D1 player...

Pledger is gonna be a guy that in 10 yrs will get forgotten because of these horrible teams but might be the best shooter to ever play at OU...I firmly believe that if he is on that team with Blake they win it all...he is that good...

Grooms was impressive to me, shot isn't all that bad...at least tonight...good solid pg...Blair has his moments as well...

They all looked lost at times on D tonight...frustrating how many bunnies they gave up cause they don't see the ball when guarding thier guy...thought that was bball 101...

Talked to the Mizzou asst after the game and he said their Gameplan was to soften their pressure, I told him that didn't make sense to me with OU's TO problems but Haith must have saw something else they could exploit...I don't think it worked cause OU played well for the most part on O...

Mizzou's D and dependence on 3's will limit them in the tourney if it continues, and they know it...

Which assistant did you talk to?

My guess is they were betting on Grooms not being able to score like he did. Maybe the plan was related to a concern of a lack of energy/focus coming off the big win over kansas, so rather than pressuring OU like normal and risk making multiple mistakes, they were hoping to just escape (which is basically what happened).

We'll see about the tournament...

That's kinda what I gathered, they def didn't see Grooms shooting or playing aggressive like he did...

I like Haith and think he will have then ready, but those concerns are real for them inside the program...talked a little about what they learned in Miami with some of their teams that they thought had a chance to make a run, and this team is better...They will be fun to watch and will need some seed and draw help

Pledger and Rattcliff are from the same area...Steven is from Chesapeake and Ricardo is from Hampton, They played on the same AAu team together

I noticed the play. I also noticed that Texas dunked the ball in College Station well after the final horn at A&M. I don't know if the officials can give a technical for that but they used to be able to give one for dunking in warmups.

Reminded me of when Eduardo helped up Mason (I think) of OSU after we beat them in that final game at old GIA.
