Not that it was so impressive tonight ... but HOW do they get Barnes (who was one of the few Lakers I ever liked), Crawford, Billups (even injured now), Bledsoe, AND Ronny Turiaf?

I see a few teams those guys could be starting for. They must have the best bench in the NBA.

notice I didnt even mention Odom.

VDN may not be able to screw this up after Billups and Hill get back.

Barnes does it all on the floor. Very impressive.

Good point. If they don't start dominating everyone at that point then it should be curtains for Del Negro.

Oh, forgot to mention Caron Butler. One more horse in the stable.

caron is a starter. he just hurt his arm so barnes started.

Is Billups not a starter? I would think he will start for Green when he returns. Green probably ends up the odd man out in the rotation, especially when Hill returns.

Yuck. Can't stand Barnes. He's a punk

Thunder did a better job later in the game on the Clippers inside game it seemed. Didn't let Chris Paul do anything all night either. Good win for the Thunder. Clippers are the real deal though. I wouldn't be shocked if it's these two teams fighting it out in the West Finals.

Barnes was terrible with the Lakers. Couldn't hit the broad side of a barn, and his reputation as a defensive stopper were never confirmed......

No way LA was renewing his contract.

...and yet he goes across the street to the Clips and has made himself a valuable member of their team. He's basically their Nick Collison. Their jack of all trades. Every time I have seen him come in (not counting when he's started for Caron) he has made a positive impact on the game for the Clips.

I would take him over everyone the Lakers have coming off the bench now.
