Coach is lost in the fog

Typically, when you play multiple defenses, it's cause you can't defend anyone in a man.

.

That's really not true at all. It can be, with certain teams likee Syracuse for instance, but it's never a bad thing to switch up defenses at times during the game to confuse and interrupt the rhythm of the opponents offense. Capel does a great job of that out of timeouts especially.

Its the same offense we ran when we won 30 games and went 4-2 in the NCAA tourney in two years. It just works better when you have verterans PG's like AJ and Leary, veteran bigs like Taylor Griffin and superstars like Blake Griffin.

We have one guy that knows what he's doing this year. Cade Davis. Next year we will have half a dozen and same for the year after that. Then I'm sure people will think Capel can coach again.

Why are we talkinga about offense anyways after last night? We scored 37 pts each half. 74 points is enough to win. The problem was that we gave up 40 a half. That wont get it done. Plus the turnovers, but again that comes from having two guys that have played about 5 games at OU playing PG.

Remember how much better AJ was as a Senior than he was as a freshman/soph??

My biggest problem is having so many players with no quickness on the team.

I don't disagree that changing defenses is good at times to change the flow of the game but most successful teams play one defense (either man or zone) and play it well.
