Yeah, probably a stretch, but I see the potential. He's a guy at 6' 9" that can play point guard at the next level. If not a Magic Johnson maybe a Penny Hardaway type.

He can't play point guard at the next level. I wish people would quit saying this. Can you imagine him trying to guard Russell Westbrook or John Wall on the perimeter? Those guys would eat his lunch off the dribble.

He is a very good passer, but he is not a floor general. He's a guy who can be a GREAT small forward with an incredible knack for passing. The Greek Freak is a good comparison or Lamar Odom.

If you put him on Oklahoma, with the combination of our guys him and hield would dominate. Once he gets to the NBA with great players around him I think he will be good.

Simmons teammates shot almost 50% of the field combined . A star couldn't ask for anything more . Again their guard will play in the nba and outplayed Woodard last night .

Simmons didn't score the last 10 minutes of the game ...... Thats not being the best player in college basketball , not even top 3 or 4.

He will probably be the the first pick taken but he's not even dominating college yet .

Not only did Simmons not score the last 10 minutes of the game, in the second half he had zero assists, zilch. He pretty much disappeared from the game.

I have seen him a few times on TV. He has superior open/full court passing skills. He is also a good passer while penetrating. He did neither of these yesterday. Good scouting/coaching.
BTW three or four others on LSU's team will make money playing pro ball.
