He is playing really well right now. His shooting percentage is fantastic. His defense is outstanding. His rebounding is great. His ball handling is good and the improvement is impressive from his freshman year.

This kid was a late pick up. A lot of schools really missed the boat on Cousins.

There is rumor Odomes might be similar in that the recruiting services missed on him. I hope that is true. (Everyone needs to remember Hield and Cousins were not this good as freshman.)

Did anybody else notice his shot seemed to have more arc yesterday?
I wonder if that has to do with the hand injury, or is a deliberate mechanical change.

I didn't notice, but I have noticed in the past that his shot has a limited amount of arc. So I wouldn't be surprised if he's trying to work on getting more arc.

There's no reason for Cousins to adjust the arc on his shot. He's one of the better three-point shooters in the league.

2.Forte, Phil-OSU.......... JR 20 54 129 .419

If Cousins could handle the point, he'd be a lottery pick. As is, I think he will get a very real look in the league.

I just hope that look doesn't come until after his senior season. I hate to be selfish like that but I am.

Agreed. I think Hield and Cousins are both playing themselves into being fringe first round picks. Obviously I'd like both to return, and I think Cousins has the most to gain from doing so.

Isaiah should injure his wrist more often if he keeps shooting like this. :ez-laugh:
