With all due respect to the OSU fans who have been welcome on this board for years, the majority of Poke fans I'm familiar with wrote the book on classless behavior. Try visiting the OSU boards sometime and you'll see what I mean. The hatred and abuse runs deep on their boards anytime OU is a topic of conversation.
Funny, too, that an OSU fan would use a lame knock on people who live in mobile homes. Out of curiosity I Googled mobile home communities in Stillwater and Norman with the following results: Norman has 9; Stillwater is way out in front with 14. Good try, moron! Congratulations on winning the trailer park race.
I just remember when Texas played at OSU in basketball a number of years ago and the Texas guy ran out of bounds and accidentally hit the pregnant lady who was NOT EVEN WATCHING the game.
Her boyfriend kicked the Texas guy and the fracas started.
That's all I need to say about OSU and class.
just for fun...

Intriguing that he so clearly associates classy behavior (or the lack thereof) with the amount of money a person makes. As if one necessarily has anything to do with the other.
And this meme among aggie fans that OU fans are blue collar (again, resentment of the working class) and live in trailers is an odd one, too. There's a political school of thought that says you should accuse your opponent of precisely your own shortcomings and misdeeds.
More on point, I will be going to the OU v. UT game next week in Austin. I will have extremely good seats through a friend and have a pass to the alumni club in Austin. I have a simple choice to make. I can wear an OU shirt, stand out and draw negative attention to myself or I can wear nutural colors and blend into the crowd. I will almost certianly chose to wear nutural colors, although in the past I have typically worn an OU shirt to games in Austin. The reason I will likely wear nutural colors is I personally believe it is the polite thing to do, especially given the fact I will be at the UT alumni club. If I chose to wear an OU shirt, I will expect UT fans to give me some grief just as I would expect a UT fan would get in Norman.
When you chose to make an issue of the fact you prefer the other team while seated in great seats and visiting the other team's alumni club, you are inviting negative attention. You should at least be mature enough to realize it will happen at all schools and not cry about after you pretty much intentioanlly encouraged the behavior.

Sorry but you're going to have to fill me in on just exactly what "nutural" is.
Point is, I don't believe 99% of these stories, and rarely are they accurately portrayed. I make this statement with one caveat: I would believe anything that I hear about abuse thrown by LSU fans prior to a Sugar Bowl game. I didn't make it down there when OU played them, but I was in NOLA for a wedding when they played Illinois, truly disturbing stuff.

Anyone remember Ryno from the rivals oSu board?
He had a very similar story about being at a bedlam baseball game 7-8 years ago. He said he was being harassed by some OU fans, etc. and then even had pictures to prove it which he of course posted. What wasn't mentioned was that it was a predominantly oSu section [I had gotten my tickets from an oSu donor] and in fact, it was oSu fans that were taunting the guy and his girlfriend to the point of throwing things at him and getting unruly. The pictures made it look like the guy was being escorted out by security, instead, it was security just walking behind them after the abused couple said it just wasn't worth it and left.
I called him on it, and of course he denied the real incident, but there was just ONE problem: It was a crazy game where OU was down big, and there were these kids [9 or 10 years old] that were running up and down the stadium stairs screaming: "Gooner's Suck"....until OU came back and won the game and those same kids were crying. An honest oSu fan [or apparently one that didn't like Ryno] was also there and verified the whole story because he remembered being embarrassed about the kids and what he saw happen to the couple that left.

OSU fans consistently tar and feather my grandfather every year we go to the GIA. It's happened ten plus times.
