OU's crowds have been great lately. They don't always fill the arena, but they cheer hard and stay involved in the games.

Our student section has been the best I have seen in years. Tip of the hat to them! :woot

Eyewitness report: It was great crowd. The students stand-up the entire game, as is their custom. It seemed the entire arena was on their feet through the last 4 minutes. It was a wonderful exciting game with a perfect ending.

When KU took the lead late in the game, the beak-peckers started the "let's go beak-peckers" chant. The students would have none of it, and roared back to lead the OU crowd to override the beak-peckers on the loud meter.

At the final roar, the peckers left with their beaks between their legs.

It was glorious.

Yes. Even today there were lots of empty seats on the lower level, especially on the east side. No one ever uses those seats.

The students have improved so much this year. So has the in game experience. I love the song the band plays to start the game. Awesome. They also have brought the football songs to bball. They should since those are the chants and songs that most Sooner fans know. Love it! Keep up the good work and let's make it even better next year!!

Watching the traveling KU folks leave dejected was fun. The crowd was nuts at the end of the game. Very loud. It was a good time.

I couldn't believe a KU student got into the OU student section. At least I hope that WASN'T an OU student who was such a front-runner that he wanted to wear Beaker Blue.
