It is interesting to look at his current bracket. He has us meeting Stanford in the second round. I wouldn't mind being an eighth seed if we didn't have to face Notre Dame or Connecticut. Stanford or Duke's bracket would be fine.
This is one year in which I will be very surprised if the four #1 seeds make it to the Final Four. Right now, the other two are Stanford and Duke, and I don't know that they will survive battles against #8, #5, or #2 seeds any better than any of the other top eight seeds in their region. Stanford lost last night to Washington, and Duke was taken out tonight by North Carolina in Durham.
He has OSU as a #3. OK. I think we may well sweep a #3.
I just see a bit more parity, with the exception of UConn and the Irish, than usually exists. We see things like Duke losing at home, KU upsetting Baylor, LSU upsetting Tennessee in Knoxville, and Florida beating Kentucky. Kentucky beating Louisville may be the biggest upset thus far this year. I think we may have a couple of surprises.
