Cuonzo Martin to Tennessee.

A coaching move that is actually surpsing, wow.

Wonder what this does for Drew Wilson, Dorrian Williams and possibly Josh Richardson.

Hope nobody had him on their list. Who did we hire? That's a good hire. That guy wins.

Now if we can get just get Gregg Marshall hired someone else, we wouldn't have to worry about that boob coming here anymore.

Hope Matt Painter doesn't blow up in Missouri's face. Martin was my top fallback option...

well, SOMEONE had to take that job...glad it was him.

apparently he didn't listen to what an awful job it is.

Martin was only making $300K w/$250K buyout. Tennessee probably went cheapish at about $1 mill per (my guess and not fact).

i was hoping all the guys they had on their search list would come out and say no way to that job as long as mike hamilton remained as their AD.

DFW do you think one of Baylor's graduate assistants would be interested in our job? We'll take what we can get at this point.

mike hamilton will be gone within 9 months or so. just watch.

Ha- you all will end up with someone good. OU's a great job- especially given realignment fears.

Why not Shaka Smart- style of play is perfect fit to personnel

I really like Smart, but am not confident in his ability to fill nine scholarships with Big 12 level talent between now and November. I know he's got a reputation as a great recruiter, but he'd be too far behind to get that done IMO.

Martin is in much the same boat, but he at least has a lot of connections that would help him get off to a fast start and is held in very high regard by regional AAU coaches/programs.

Really, though, I'm not worried about having to go with option #2.
