Mayor GT Bynum announced he is not going to try and block the Trump rally..... and now Al Sharpton is going to be here for a Junteenth event on Friday.

Tulsa is gonna be crazy this weekend.

Al sharpton is one of the worst things to ever happen to the black community. He’s made millions taking money from politicians to secure the black vote while providing nothing for the black community. People like sharpton are why things never change.

Al should be careful. The rona is in Tulsa.
 
As stated in previous threads, wrongs in society are a two way street. One is covered by the liberal media to support and push forward a narrative, a narrative to retain or regain political power. Those who are moralistic do not engage in such fanfare while those w/o do. Again, morality is not taught by immorality. Yes, even a chit fly could figure this out.

Who said this was ok? The narrative is police brutality has gone far enough. I don’t see how this video is an argument for anything.

It's called telling one side of the story which applies to many facets of life so it is not stupid and is obvious to figure out the reasoning of my post. The media is entrenched in telling just one side because they cannot bear the thought of rocking the so called "apple cart," an apple cart filled with black voters who would leave the party of the democrats, to an extent, if they were called out in public for their behavior towards people of other color (not just white). I think I asked you to name one hate crime where the perpetrator was black and you cannot. If the media covered these crimes as being one the same you would not have an excuse to not be able to provide a single example, and that is precisely how they go about their business. The media wants to drive a wedge between people whether it relates to sports, policing, everyday people, etc. I do not make reality for all I do is accept it regardless of whether I like it or not or who benefits most or not and I could really care less what you think.


I mean if the media is not driven by power and politics then why do they make up so much of their stories?

Prove what point? It’s hard to even tell what you are even talking about, so it’s even harder to prove your wrong about something.

I didn’t know random people being mean & violent to each other was a current event being discussed & also wasn’t getting punished.

Racism is not a one way street and the last thing to rely on is the media to arrive at this realization. And just because some things in life are hard to discern does not mean it holds no value. Do we even know what the motivation is for the man in the video I posted? I say no and the same goes for most of all incidents between varying races yet the motivation seems to become readily apparent in certain videos parlayed by the media, so as not to tell the truth, but to reinforce a narrative which only accomplishes to take people of different backgrounds and play them against each other. It is identity politics and society would be better off without it. Much better! I cannot stand identity politics and the media are whores at this. Whores!

If the media is not involved in identity politics then who is. The media shares responsibility in what the masses know.

Secondly, if women have it worse than men, then men never suffer from grievances created by women? A true answer to a problem comes from seeing both sides of the equation and that is my point. If you cannot name a single hate crime provoked by a black person then what equation is there. Try providing a recipe where you're only going to document one ingredient. It does not work. Either state it all or don't state it. Playing favorites emboldens one side and this is not hard to figure out.

If you don’t see how some people have it exponentially worse and that it needs to be addressed & changed immediately for a better world then I can’t help you.

Give me a break. If your point is the media portrayed white people in a specific manner for years and they had it better for years that is obvious and it is also obvious that it was to the detriment of others. Now if the flip side is portrayed by the media then just the opposite occurs where one side has it better, but to the detriment of others. All I am saying is in fairness there is no detriment because if there is then there is no real fairness being displayed. It is not a concept which is cloaked in darkness.

Because we gain knowledge of what occurs or does not occur due to them. If we are not aware of a tornado approaching then how do we prepare properly if at all. Media can enlighten us all as to what is really happening so we can see things for what they are and only then can we start to find a proper solution. They can warn us of an impending storm or they can ignore it or they can create a contrived story of how there is or isn't one. Only one is acceptable. Only one.

I get the idea that you are an avid listener to the Allman Brothers. If you believe nothing about perception changes because of the word you do not like being referenced then good for you. For someone who thinks I'm a rambling man you sure seem to reference the media often. Wonder why?

Man.... if only there was a political movement here in the US who looked across the Atlantic at countries like these, see what they do successfully to produce the happiest populations on earth, and implement some of those ideas here.

That political party doesn’t exist in America. It hasn’t ever existed in American history. I agree we should be looking at other countries to find a better way, but we’ve never done that. Politicians are too busy getting rich to worry about making America a better place.
