A lot going on in this thread.

Bounce, I hope, and you should too, that the law would protect all citizens equally. If the law allows discrimination against anyone, then it could allow discrimination against you eventually. It can’t just protect the ruling class. That would be dangerous to us all.

As for gundy, what a tone deaf dingleberry. Anyone saying, it’s just a T shirt! Is missing the point. It’s not just about the shirt, it’s about what’s going on in America. How can he be so careless! That was stupid and gundy knows it. He’s such an arrogant jerk and he put that shirt on knowing he’d get a response. He thinks any publicity is good publicity.

I agree. It's obviously a free country and he can wear any shirt he wants, no question. But wearing *that* shirt after he already had to apologize for his weird covid-19 rant was really dumb and, you're right, arrogant.

I think he does that stuff on purpose. I think he relishes the attention, good or bad.

"Being himself" almost (and still could) lost him his Heisman trophy finalist and is probably going to lose him a lot of recruits.
 
This is a trend I keep seeing, both on this forum and elsewhere..... That people who subscribe to conspiracy theories, or have racist undertones (or are directly racist), etc keep saying "oh, so I can't have another opinion?"....

I am torn on how to digest it... If facts/evidence don't back up your claim, should you still have that opinion? If the opinion is vulgar in nature (such as being racist or insensitive), should we call that out? Can someones personal opinion be "bad"? Should we encourage that person to think about it from a different perspective? Or just leave them alone and respect their opinion, even if its vulgar in nature?
 
I also want to point out that Tyreek Hill's comments about this were discussed by the media.

How that wipe thinks wearing a tee shirt is more egregious than punching a late stage pregnant woman in the belly is beyond comprehension which is likely why he shoots his mouth off.
