I read an interesting article recently that said that when Texas turns blue, and it will, demographics is like a rising tide that can't be turned back, then the GOP will suddenly be for getting rid of the electoral college because it will be virtually impossible for them to win the presidency for the foreseeable future.

I fully expect the dems to win several elections in a row and then people will wake up. I just hope the damage isn’t irreversible

Did you pick Trump to win in 2016? Well, I did.

And, I’m picking him to win again. I wouldn’t have said that three weeks ago. But the tide is turning—red not blue. Remember what I said in November. Oh, and be sure to check on my little buddy, thebigabd. He may need your support. ;)

In other news, the coverup of the bogus mueller investigation. Will anything come of this?

So when liberals boycott a product it's "cancel culture" but when conservatives boycott a product it's not "cancel culture." Got it.

No true Scotsman for the win! Hahaha

Liberals aren't wanting to boycott anything. They are wanting statues, companies, and people destroyed, shutdown, and fired.

Big difference between that and saying we aren't going to watch the NFL.

Texas won’t turn blue. I know you’re wishing but, nope. You should worry about Pennsylvania, New Hampshire, Michigan, Wisconsin, North Carolina, Nevada, etc.

Trump will win going away and Steve will throw a fit and blame him for all of Steve’s problems, which are many.

Also, it’s more likely the dem party splinters after yet another humiliating defeat.

It will turn blue my friend. Maybe not this cycle of the next, but you can’t fight demographic changes. Just like Virginia, New Mexico, and Arizona, it’s just a matter of time.

Trump is losing badly right now, he had one of the worst days of his presidency yesterday and it’s not looking good for him. Can he still eke out an electoral college victory? Sure, but it’s going to be razor-thin if he does, nobody, I mean nobody, is expecting him to win the popular vote. Except maybe you hahaha.

The tide is turning based on what? New Ipsos poll out today has it Biden 52%, Trump 40%. Trump had a horrific day yesterday and at the moment he has zero path to victory. Can he still win? Of course, but he will have to draw an inside straight again and there are no signs that it’s going to happen at this point.

LOL. Keep telling yourself that Steve. Trump is winning.

Steve is in denial. He’s also worried, he’s just too proud to admit it.

I’m not worried, I’ll be fine no matter who wins. I’d say the people in denial are the ones making declarative statements about who is going to win based on nothing.

Trump is in no way winning by any measure. Does he have a chance to win? Sure, but he’s well behind at the moment.

The polls showed him to be well behind in 2016, too. Yet, he beat a stronger candidate in Hilary than his current opponent.

Biden four years ago was not even close to the bumbling, stumbling shell of a man he is now. I feel bad for him, but it’s too late to go in another direction at this late date.

I’m not worried either. If Biden wins, I’ll be fine too. Then again, I’m not one of the posters who has been on this forum nearly every day for months trying to prove how right I am.

One of us does not understand what "he has zero path to victory" means.

Okay fine Mr. Pedantic. Let me rephrase. He has an extremely narrow path to victory at this moment. He can win of course, but at this moment he is well behind and far behind where he was at this point in 2016.

Biden is doing just fine. He’s polling a lot better than Hillary did at this point. He’s ahead in all the swing states and competitive in places like Texas and Georgia. I don’t expect him to win those two states but polling so well there is a sign of strength.

Again, Trump can win, only a fool would call the race over at this point. But Biden is in a much better position. This is not a controversial statement.

You’re pathological. The typical dem playbook of repeating something over and over again until people believe it, won’t help you Steve. Trump is winning. Again.

I tell you what. If you’re so confident that Trump is going to win in a landslide I’ll bet you $1,000 that Biden wins the popular vote. Of course the electoral college is going to be a lot closer but I guarantee you that Trump won’t win the popular vote. Care to put your money where your mouth is?

Why would someone vote who would win the popular vote?

I just had a pollster call me. I told them I was voting for biden

He keeps saying it’s going to be a Trump landslide. If he really thinks that then he won’t mind making $1,000. Right?
