Right. I quoted it because it contradicts the definition you posted.

At this point,Think what you want. Comparing a papal conclave to the US electoral college is utterly laughable. If that is all you have then ok

The cardinals vote for the point for who they want. They don’t vote on behalf of anyone

I’m not comparing it to the US EC. I’m showing you that the VC is an EC country by definition & expert views. The origin of the EC is literally the Catholic Church. Lol but think what you want.

Well why the hell would you be arguing about countries that use an “electoral college” that isn’t remotely the same thing as the us? Makes no sense. You argue just to argue. The discussion was on why you think the EC needs to go and you point to a few countries that still use i guess a form of the EC even if they aren’t close to what ours is?

Ugh I’ll try to talk slower.

The US version is that each individual state hosts a finite amount of electorates (points). So as ABD showed about 42-49% of Texas’ votes were useless. The majority of electorates wins.

In VC the Cardinals (electorates, points) are appointed by the pope. All the people who dislike the “Cardinal College” & want an opinion themselves are useless (in this voting process). All those votes (electorates, points) determine who’s will run the country until his term or life passes.

It’s still the EC even if you want to deny it.

Dude this is so laughable it’s not even funny. You are trying to discredit the US EC by comparing it to the papal conclave that is nothing like the US EC.

Just stop. It’s ridiculous

You still haven’t explained how the VC isn’t using the EC. You just keep saying how 2 countries don’t use the same system identically.

The EC has already been discredited by the Supreme Court & more closely by ABD. But facts, articles, & discussions won’t deter you.

I don’t think it’s a case for systematic racism. I think it’s a case to further show how much police reform is needed.

What would you do differently. They served a legal warrant. They did knock. They were fired upon and returned fire. The occupants in the apartment were not asleep as had been reported. What should they have done? What would you do? What would a reasonable response be?

You have no idea if they knocked. You have no idea if she was asleep then woken up. It was the middle of the night & they broke down the door & the resident was trying to protect himself & his girlfriend. The person they were looking for hadn’t been there in months. No drugs were found at all. Then the boyfriend said the police were trying to cut him a deal for him to say Taylor was a drug dealer. It was just terrible work the whole way & now someone is dead who didn’t even do anything.

I admit I haven’t been following the details, but I read a blurb from the DA yesterday that said the police did knock and it was a legal warrant. It wasn’t a no knock and the residents were not asleep. I guess nobody will know what actually happened. How can either of us say what should be done differently if we don’t know what actually happened. But we should riot, right. I mean, that’s the answer to bringing real change and long lasting peace and harmony. The racial divide will be solved through violence and riots. Sounds right.

You really need to educate yourself. A lot of facts were given by the Attorney General yesterday, so there is no need to keep saying stuff that isn't true.

1. AG said they knocked. He also said it wasn't a no knock warrant like had been reported for months.
2. They weren't looking for a specific person. The warrant had Taylor's name on it, and the purpose of the warrant was mostly to search the premises b/c they believed there were drugs and/or drug money there.
3. What is wrong with pressing a person to give up somebody that is guilty? That stuff happens all the time. Doesn't mean it was dirty, as you are suggesting. Deals are cut all the time when people testify against others they are close to. Sounds like the cops were trying to get him to admit something they believed was true. Nothing more. They didn't have anything on the current BF, so sure, offer him a deal if he is willing to tell what they believed was the truth.

This crap about the wrong house, or the wrong person, that needs to stop b/c it 100% isn't true. lol, Rex Chapman was trying to spew that nonsense on Twitter last night.

dude....

i'm not sure where you are getting your news but there are a lot of inaccuracies in this paragraph.

Did the AG say anything about body cam footage? The last I heard they thought at least one cop had a body cam. If it was on that video will get out eventually so I can't imagine the AG would be lying about knocking if there is video to the contrary.

If it was on, shame on the police for again not utilizing technology that would clarify events

You lecturing me to educate myself made for a good laugh. Thanks

1. If they knocked nobody in the apartment building heard it.
2. They believed drugs were in the house bc her ex-boyfriend was a drug dealer. He wasn’t there for 2 months & no drugs were found in the house. They went to that house bc that was his last known address.
3. Well he & her ex boyfriend both stated Taylor had no involvement ever in the drug game. They didn’t have anything on him? He stated the cops told him they were going to convict him for attempted murder on cops. Obviously all his charges have been dropped & Taylor’s family received $12 million because the procedure was done correctly.

Then you might not want to render opinions until this statement is no longer true.

1. Wrong. The AG said they had a witness confirm several facts, including the knocking and maybe (I don't recall), them announcing themselves.

2. I'm aware of why they were there. I'm aware they found nothing. Doesn't mean it wasn't a valid warrant, and I'm already on record as saying it probably wasn't a big enough issue to show up at 2am and enter how they did. If ANYTHING needs to come from it, it's just that.

3. I meant in terms of drugs, but yes, they could have threatened him with attempted murder. I still don't see how using that as leverage to try and get him to talk is bad, or anything but normal? And just b/c the city paid out doesn't mean the cops did anything illegal. It was a bad situation where a person lost their life when she probably shouldn't have. That is why the city paid out. Not b/c the cops belong in prison. Both can be true.

I didn't say anything was done illegally, except obviously the cop who was found guilty. I'm saying it was bad work and somebody lost their life because of it. I've been saying all along this comes down to reform.
