How was I all over the place? That was me reiterating for the 3rd time that the vouchers are going to be primarily used for students already going there.

Well you didn't say "primarily". You were very black and white. You said they would only help those already going to private school.

They when I said there would be some parents that will decide to send their kids to private schools due to the voucher making it possible and you responded by bringing up special needs kids.

And now you are throwing in "primarily"

EDIT: rereading, it appears the special needs comment was pointed towards my comment refuting your point that private schools won't accept public school kids. I apologize

I'm pretty pessimistic that republicans can win back the seat from Horn. Democrats had a higher turnout the republicans in the primaries. I don't think that is a good sign.

I think it's a great sign. Democracy takes work, whichever side you lean.

Be informed, and go vote.

Well it isn't a great sign if you want the republicans to regain the seat. That is what I meant

A vehicle in Provo, Utah was trying to pass through a group of protestors and was shot at twice. The 1st shot fired was from the passenger side and struck one of the occupants. If the bullet missed it would likely have exited the driver's side window and placed those protestors in harms way. Beautiful people.

BLM (black lives matter) was started by 3 women with the names of Alicia Garza, Patrisse Cullors and Opal Tometi. The video link is an interview with Patrisse as she explains her ideological views shared by her and another co-founding member of BLM which would be Alicia Garza. She explicitly states that both are "trained Marxists." She makes this realization at the 50 second mark.

You can't be serious.

The democrats are those who stand by BLM and are complicit in the dismantling of our nation all under the guise of Marxism. Stupid, yes! Duped, yes. Naive? Don't get me started.

You know what I have always found interesting?

A.) How fervently our status quo has to be defended.

B.) How scared people are of adopting concepts of socialism, as has been done in pretty much all countries, including ours

Seriously, how often is the word "socialism" thrown around in the US over the past 10 years? It's the go-to word to fight any type of proposed progress to be made.

We should do something about economic inequality! - Nope, socialism.
We should do something about our health system! - Nope, socialism.
We should fix how our schools are funded! - Nope, socialism.
We should keep and expand social security! - Nope, socialism.
We should invest in 100% clean energy! - Nope, socialism
We should have postal banking! - Nope, socialism
We should spend a trillion dollars to develop a new fighter jet! - Hell yes!

Clean energy.... better schools.... cheaper healthcare.... economic equality... Etc are good things for a vast majority of people. Yet, here we are fighting tooth and nail to change ANYTHING. To change SOMETHING. And we can't get it done. I mean, we will eventually, but it shouldn't be this hard.

Marxism is not what you are talking about. You do not have to overturn a capitalistic democracy to see that people have rights and are treated fairly. I mean have you ever heard of "women suffrage." You think Marxist countries have wonderful race relations and equality for all? Give me a break.

Social programs is different than Marxism. Hugely different.
Marxism is evil

I agree. The democrats don’t want democracy. That’s the problem.

do you just throw that word around or what? we want egalitarianism.

dont even get me started about "democracy". you lost the true view of democracy with citizens united and the complete loss of public sovereignty.

Supporting that a race of people should quit being unjustly targeted doesn’t mean you have to agree with a movements founder’s ideology.

trump makes his damn t-shirt logo a carbon copy of the nazi reichsadler meanwhile some here remain busy looking for ways to distort progressive motives into some marxist conspiracy. myopia abounds.

You may want that. The Democratic Party does not. They don’t give a **** what you want, only what they want.

Do you believe the founders want no Marxists in BLM? Do you believe the way they fashion their strategy will be devoid of their political ambitions or they will more likely be one in the same? And the interviewer in the video clearly asks if their is an ideology to BLM.

I haven’t heard anyone say that black lives don’t matter. Everyone that’s not an idiot can agree on that. I don’t support an organization of marxists and violent criminals that use a mans death to rally support and millions of dollars for their own selfish ends. BLM doesn’t give a crap about black lives. They care about creating chaos and raising money. It’s funny that most of their money doesn’t go to black lives but the White Democratic Party.
