You are smarter than that. They aren't being killed b/c of the "wrong" they potentially committed that lead to the encounter. They are being killed b/c of their actions with the police DURING the encounter.

It's disingenuous at a minimum, and probably closer to outright dishonesty, to suggest they are being killed selling loose cigarettes, using counterfeit money, or getting in a fight.

agreed. It is either purposely being dishonest or just a lack of intelligence

But, but, we're all racist around here. At least coolm told me we were.

Yep...a black republican candidate unseated an old white conservative incumbent for sheriff....in oklahoma.... Let that sink in liberals

It’s lacking intelligence to believe that George Floyd & Eric Garner should be alive if the 2 cops would’ve just slapped handcuffs on them & put them in the back of the car? I mean both situations only had 4 cops and 1 guy who was committing a misdemeanor.

You are being dishonest again.
I said it is a lack of intelligence or being purposely dishonest to say that they died because they were selling cigs or using fake money.

But to address your post further, I do believe they still would have been alive if they would have been handcuffed and put in the car. Guess why they weren't (hint: it wasn't the cops fault that they weren't)

It is sickening that any article i read trying to find out Jacob Blake's past criminal activity plays off the domestic violence and sexual assault charges.

You know what third degree sexual assault in Wisconsin is?

Third Degree Sexual Assault: A person can be imprisoned not more than five years or fined not more than $10,000 for committing third degree sexual assault. This includes:

Sexual intercourse with a person without consent of that person, or
Sexual contact with intentional penile ejaculation with a person without consent of that person.

It is rape. This man raped someone. Had issues with police in the past, had domestic abuse issues, and has a history with fire arms.

But all you can find with the media is that he was an activists and very involved in the community. Screw that. This was a bad man. He had been fighting with the cops, tased, and was headed to his vehicle. To say this was not a justified shooting is absolutley ridiculous.

Those are the events that started it and overzealous cops went way too far. It’s obvious you don’t see it that way, so there’s no point continuing this.

It wasn’t the cops fault that they choked a man to death & knelt on another man for 9 f***ing minutes? Me & my 3 trained partners can’t arrest this 1 guy so we have to kill him.

correct. It's dishonest to say that they were killed for selling cigs and using fake money

more raw video.

It is weird because the cops were just standing there and he got up. I am guessing they had just tased him and had their guard down

I see all sorts of options there. The shooting was beyond excessive, and the outrage is totally justified.

They didn't want to be arrested or go to jail. They are tired of being harassed by police and the community.

Resistance is a form of protest against unfairness. Rosa Parks didn't just comply and do what she was told. She was breaking the law, resisted, and got arrested. That resistance changed society.

Videos like this of unarmed black people getting shot, choked to death, etc while showing forms of resistance can and will change society as well. It is happening before our eyes.

There were definitely people back then who thought, "Why didn't Rosa Parks just do what she was told? She broke the law and was arrested, end of story".... It was against the law for her not to give up her seat to a white passenger.

The issue is different today though... Back then it was resistance against unjust laws. Today, the resistance is more against over-policing, police brutality, police harassment of black communities, etc.

It doesn't change the full systemic problem though.... poverty. All roads lead to poverty. Fix the poverty, and you fix a lot of these other issues. Education, housing, drug use, alcoholism, depression, mental health, hopelessness, etc.

Not an easy issue to fix.

Which party has had a greater say in urbanized locales over the past decades. Republicans?

You are part of the problem. Yes, YOU. If you call the police doing their job and confronting people that are doing illegal things harassment, you are just feeding into the incorrect narrative. And let's be honest, the police didn't just show up. They were CALLED. Called to come and do their job.

Don't want to be arrested or go to jail? DON'T BREAK THE LAW. Don't want to be CONTACTED by the police? DON'T BREAK THE LAW. It sounds like you are saying "oh, the black man has been through enough, so police shouldn't bother them when they do things like trespass, commit domestic assault, fight, or pay for their meals with counterfeit money. That is INSANE!

All of the incidents we speak of are situations where the individuals could have righted the ship. They obviously chose not to thus it is the fault of everyone else who can have a finger pointed at them. It is the "cop out" that are people which is on full display. Give most people an inch of wiggle room and they will show what a compleat jerk off they can be.

Arresting people for resisting is absolutely fine, murdering them is not. It's that simple.

Tired of being "harassed by police [for committing crimes, like rape]" fixed it for you
