Grades weren't all that good but athletes have a different scale to go by when going to college.

We missed out on Gant when it was thought she wouldn't make her grades. OU backed off her but Gary Blair continued to recruit her and it paid off. I thought it was worth recruiting McCowan and if she didn't qualify we could have helped direct her to a juco. No guarantee you will get them back but, if you do, you have a good player for two years. If they somehow make their grades, even better!

Seeing as Vick is the head coach at Miss st, I can see why McCowan was given a chance. I think she would have worked with Mulkey, to bad we didn't look at her... It looks like Felicia Aiyeotan is waiting until the signing period to sign, maybe Sherri will take a look at her, would be nice to have 2 6'9 players starting.
