What will it take to be able to play in kc in the big dance? Would be nice to play in a familiar arena close to home. I think we play there if we can get to the 6 line.

I'm hoping that's where we end up because that's where I'll be!

4 line and above gets preferential geography. We would need to win out and at least get to the Big 12 finals, if not win it. Tough road to KC.

I think that was changed a few years ago. Right now Jerry Palm has Ohio state playing in Dayton as a 6 seed.

Anything is possible but the only way to guarantee anything is to get to the 4 line. That hasn't changed.

A lot of talk in KC about local teams coming to KC and Lunaticardi now has both KU and KSU here in KC. If both KS teams make it then OU won't be coming here because we would have to play one of them in the 2nd round.

If Missouri gets a berth in KC and KU or KSU is sent elsewhere then we could play in KC but we would have to play Mizzou in the 2nd round.

I think the chances are slim we end up in KC. We would need to tie for the league championship with KU or KSU, and the one we didn't tie with would need to lose the first big 12 tourney game. We also need Mizzou to lose more.

How crazy would the ticket prices be if KU, Mizzou, and K-State all ended up playing in KC?

If you were a long term fan of KSU, Missouri or Kansas and that happened that woudl be a great day of basketball because you would likely be interested in three games.
